Is A Japanese Cow Worth 3.5 times An Average Human?

Three interesting facts that came out in a recent World Bank report that were highlighted on the Social Edge Blog.

1. 2.7 billion human beings live on under $2 a day (about 43% of the world population)
2. The average European cow gets about $2 a day in farm subsidies
3. The average Japanese cow receives $7 per day in farm subsidies.

Does this means that a Japanese Cow is worth approximately 3.5x the average human being and a European cow is worth just 1x an average human being?

Ahh, the wonderful distorted world of agricultural subsidies.
